- For days 1-3 wash your new tattoo with anti-bacterial soap 3 times a day. Rub soap gently onto tattoo making sure not to take off ANY scabs and then rinse.
- On day 4 wash 2 times a day and begin to put unscented hand location on a few times a day. Make sure you rub in the lotion without removing any scabs.
- DO NOT use a&d ointment, Vaseline, or any other petroleum based product. Doing this will not allow your new tattoo to breath and heal itself.
- DO NOT submerge your tattoo for any extended amount of time. this means no baths, no pools, no lakes, no ponds, in fact no swimming or tanning of any kind.
